Professor Amrish Patil, MBA (Finance) a post graduate, is a teacher by choice. He kickstarted his teaching career as a math teacher for students of grade 10. However, his affinity for Accountancy, one of the core papers in the Commerce stream, made him switch to teaching the subject. Thus, began his journey, through which, he successfully mentored and guided more than 47,000 students over a span of two decades. His expertise in the subject, the mettle he has acquired in teaching, has helped many Commerce as well as CA aspirants realize their dreams. The multi-faceted personality that he is, Prof. Patil, has also successfully handled various managerial positions in the education industry. He has held prestigious posts of being the Zonal Head and later, the business head of the Commerce division at one of the most renowned educational institutes in the country. Prof. Patil has also been associated with another reputed CA coaching institute in the capacity of a Business Head for Central and Navi Mumbai. His continued association and interaction with young minds, has prompted him to be a mentor then merely a guide to his students. For over a decade, Prof. Patil has also been engaging with students in career guidance and academic counselling. He has successfully conducted career guidance sessions at various schools, colleges, and educational institutions across the city. He, has currently, spearheaded, his own organization, Masterclass, to realize his vision of imparting quality education in the field of Commerce, and thereby mentor students to achieve their career goals in the field.
